Application of ultrafiltration in purification of traditional Chinese Medicine
The pretreatment of liquid medicine is an essential process before the membrane separation equipment of traditional Chinese medicine. Because the extract of traditional Chinese medicine generally contains more solids and impurities with high relative molecular weight, as well as colloids that are easy to cause membrane pollution, the direct ultrafiltration separation of the drug solution will cause membrane pollution and reduce the service life of the membrane. Therefore, the stock solution must be pretreated before ultrafiltration. The commonly used pretreatment methods are: firstly, centrifugal separation and flocculation sedimentation are used to remove large suspended solids such as solid impurities, and then microfiltration is used to further remove bacteria, colloids and other substances. Due to the high content of colloid and other viscous substances in traditional Chinese medicine, the membrane pollution is more serious. Therefore, Zui it is better to use membrane materials with good fouling resistance, such as polyacrylonitrile, sulfonated polysulfone membrane, etc.
Extraction of effective part (part) of traditional Chinese Medicine
The components of traditional Chinese medicine are complex, and there are certain differences in the molecular weight of each component. If the ultrafiltration membrane with appropriate pore size is selected, these components can be separated according to the molecular size through the screening function of the membrane. Considering the material basis of separation, the goal of separation and the properties that can be used for separation, this paper discusses the scientific and technical problems of membrane separation of complex system of traditional Chinese medicine, and puts forward the process design principle of membrane separation technology of traditional Chinese medicine and the idea of membrane pollution prevention and control.
In recent years, there are many reports on the treatment of common traditional Chinese medicine extracts by ultrafiltration technology. The combination of ultrafiltration technology and traditional Chinese medicine treatment is conducive to improve the quality of traditional Chinese medicine preparations and promote the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. The specific research work can be divided into three aspects: (1) explore the application of ultrafiltration in the extraction of effective components of traditional Chinese medicine [8-10]; (2) Study the technological conditions of ultrafiltration in the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine extract [11]; (3) Industrialization of ultrafiltration process and its related problems. The ultrafiltration process of seven representative traditional Chinese medicine (Danshen Decoction, simiaoyong'an decoction, Huanglian Jiedu Decoction, ginseng Shengmai Decoction, Lizhong decoction, Astragalus Decoction and leech Decoction) was studied by using polyacrylonitrile membrane with interception value of 10000um. It was found that the change trend of relative flux of the seven systems was roughly the same, and Danshen Decoction, simiaoyong'an decoction, Huanglian Jiedu Decoction The recoveries of active components in the four systems of Lizhong Decoction were more than 60%, which was significantly higher than that after alcohol precipitation. The acidic mucopolysaccharide of Stichopus japonicus was purified by ultrafiltration membrane with a molecular weight of 8000um, and the rejection rate was 97.2%. The molecular weight of Ginkgo biloba flavone (SPE) was purified by ultrafiltration from the crude membrane of Ginkgo biloba (SPE) to 2.39% of polyether sulfone (GBS).
