1.Desciption
50kd ultrafiltration cassettes PLC-composite regenerated cellulose membranes have void-free structures that guard against leakage of solutes through microdefects normally associated with voids beneath the thin skins of conventional 50kd ultrafiltration cassettes. These void-free cassettes are more permeable, resulting in high-flux with equivalent or superior product retention. These void-free cassettes provide the advantages of fast, high yield processing and smaller systems.

Forward Transmembrane Pressure

4.5 bar at 4-40 °C,
220 hours continuous(3 hours continuous,0.1m2 format only) 2.5 bar (40 psi) at 4-50 °C, 50 hours continuous

Reverse Transmembrane Pressure:

0.33 bar at 25 °C,
2 min intervals, 12 cycles
(5 cycles, micro format only)

Maximum Caustic Exposure:

1.0 N NaOH at 25 °C

pH Range:

1-13


3.Typical Applications
Concentration, desalting or buffer exchange of:
• Protein solutions
• Polysaccharide solutions
• Virus suspensions


4.Flat sheet membrane

Guidling manufactures two flat sheet TFF membranes: PESU and CR. Both are modified Polyethersulfone (mPES) membranes validated for use in cGMP processes. Both membranes are available in Single-use Cassettes and Guidling Reusable Cassettes.
